Welcome Reception, September 16, 19:00
The Welcome Reception takes place in the Orangery of the Botanical Garden of Uppsala. Drinks and a light buffet will be served. This event is included in the registration fees of participants, students and accompanying persons, and is kindly sponsored by Svanova.

Banquet at Uppsala Castle September 18
Uppsala Castle dates back to the 16th century and has been the site of numerous historical events. The Conference Banquet will be a three-course gourmet dinner in the magnificent Hall of State, where Queen Christina of Sweden abdicated her throne in June of 1654. Today, the castle holds art collections of Uppsala city and Uppsala University and is also the residence of the County Governor.

Guided tour of Uppsala for accompanying persons
A tour (by foot) of central Uppsala including visits to the Cathedral and to the University Museum with the Anatomical Theatre, Museum Gustavianum. The tour is included in the registration fee for accompanying persons. Please mark attendance on the registration form.
